Welcome to Kidoo! These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern your access to and use of our website and services, including the use of our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. By using our website, accessing the EMR system, or availing of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website, EMR system, and services.

1. Definitions

“Kidoo” – Refers to the child development center, including its website, clinics, staff, and affiliated professionals.
“User” – Refers to any individual, parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver who accesses our website, EMR system, or avails of our services.
“Services” – Refers to therapy programs, developmental assessments, consultations, and related services provided by Kidoo.
“Website” – Refers to Kidoo’s official online platform and affiliated digital channels, including online booking systems, informational pages, and service access points.
“EMR System” – Refers to Kidoo’s Electronic Medical Records system used to manage patient data, medical history, treatment plans, and progress reports.

2. User Registration and Account

To access certain features of the website, including the EMR system, you may be required to register an account and provide personal information, including health-related data.
By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify Kidoo immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

3. Use of the Website and EMR System

The website and EMR system are intended for use by patients, their legal guardians, and healthcare providers associated with Kidoo Pediatric Therapy Center. You agree to use the website and EMR system solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws.
You acknowledge that the EMR system stores and processes sensitive health information, which is protected under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). You agree not to share or disclose this information to unauthorized third parties.
You are responsible for ensuring the security of your personal devices and accounts used to access the website and EMR system. Kidoo is not responsible for any unauthorized access caused by your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account or credentials.

4. Use of Services

Our services are primarily intended for minors, but only parents, legal guardians, or authorized caregivers may create accounts, book appointments, access the EMR system, or communicate with our team.
Users must ensure that the child undergoing therapy has the necessary clearance from a licensed medical professional if required.
Kidoo reserves the right to refuse service if the user fails to provide accurate or necessary information, including health and medical details.
Users will be provided with access to the EMR system, which contains sensitive health data, to view therapy reports, progress updates, and other relevant information for their child’s treatment. Access to the EMR system is for personal, non-commercial use only

5. User Responsibilities

Users agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when booking appointments, registering for services, or filling out forms.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials for both the website and the EMR system. Sharing login information with unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited.
Users must comply with all therapy guidelines, policies, and codes of conduct established by Kidoo.
Users shall not misuse the website or EMR system, including attempting to access restricted areas, submitting false information, or engaging in abusive behavior toward staff or other users.

6. Medical Disclaimer

Kidoo provides developmental therapy services but does not replace medical diagnoses or treatment plans from licensed physicians.
Our therapy sessions aim to support a child’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development, but results may vary depending on individual conditions and needs.
Users are encouraged to consult with a medical professional for any diagnosis or medical concerns beyond the scope of the services provided by Kidoo.
The information provided in the EMR system is for informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.

7. Appointments & Cancellations

Users can book therapy sessions through our website, by phone, or in person at our clinic.
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled session to avoid cancellation fees.
Frequent cancellations or no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings or the imposition of additional fees.
Kidoo reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including staff unavailability or other operational issues. Affected users will be notified promptly.

8. Payments & Refunds

Kidoo accepts payments via [list accepted payment methods, e.g., bank transfer, credit card, online payment gateways].
Full payment may be required before a session starts or as outlined in the user’s treatment plan.
Refunds are only applicable for cancellations made within the allowed cancellation period.
If an insurance or HMO provider covers the therapy, users must comply with their policies and submit required documentation to ensure that claims are processed.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the website, including logos, text, images, therapy materials, and resources, is owned by Kidoo and is protected under intellectual property laws.
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content or materials from the website without prior written consent from Kidoo.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012: Kidoo complies with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and other relevant regulations concerning the collection, use, and storage of personal data.
Collection of Personal Data: Personal data collected through the website, during therapy sessions, and registration forms are securely stored and used solely for service provision and legal compliance purposes.
Use of EMR Data: Information stored in the EMR system, including your child’s health data and treatment progress, is confidential and will be used only for purposes related to therapy services. The data may also be used to generate progress reports, track treatment outcomes, and facilitate communication between Kidoo’s healthcare professionals.

Data Security: Kidoo implements security measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Limitation of Liability

Kidoo is not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, incorrect information provided by users, or third-party misuse of data.
While Kidoo strives to provide high-quality therapy services, we do not guarantee specific outcomes for individual cases, and results may vary based on each child’s condition.
Kidoo is not responsible for any damages arising from reliance on the information on our website or services without consultation with a licensed medical professional.
Kidoo is not liable for any issues related to unauthorized access to the EMR system, except in cases of direct negligence or breach of security measures by Kidoo.

12. Termination of Services

Kidoo reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user’s access to our services if they:
- Provide false, inaccurate, or incomplete information.
- Engage in abusive or inappropriate behavior towards staff, other users, or patients.
- Fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions or other policies outlined by Kidoo.
Users may discontinue services at any time by notifying Kidoo in writing. Any outstanding payments or cancellation fees may still be applicable.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Bacoor, Cavite

14. Changes to the T&C

Kidoo reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users will be notified via email or through website announcements when significant changes occur.
Continued use of our services, including the website and EMR system, after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
